"Funny how things work sometimes. We watched your "Recession Video" yesterday and had a nice staff discussion about it. Last night, we had one of the best Tuesdays in a long while and my dining room manager was pumped and being "the Mayor" all night. It was one of the smoothest shifts in a while. All while our two main competitors down the street were giving away free goldfish at a "goldfish race" promotion and the other one had 1/2 price everything including drinks and sushi. We didn't discount anything. didn't even have to comp a meal. I told my manager that Joel Cohen's WOW and Mayor concepts really work!
